Scope

To fully laser scan two entire platforms from sea level to top of flare stack. Following completion of the site work, to provide a visual database of the scanned data and to use those scans to create a full Cad model of both platforms.

Benefits

The client received a full Cad model of the offshore platforms fully detailing exactly what assets they own. The model can be used for upgrading, asset management and all Design Engineer requirements. This data was provided at a significant cost reduction when compared to conventional surveying techniques, and the survey was conducted without any disruption to the platforms operation.
